Infrastructure

The sky above our servers.

Everything we offer runs on a cluster of eight servers of our own, since 3 October 2026. Over every city with a server, a bright star stood almost exactly at the zenith at midnight that night. Joined like the servers are joined, they make the mark of Elchi Studios.

The constellation over our serversSix stars, five in the constellation Andromeda and one in Lacerta. Each is the catalogue star nearest the zenith over a server city at midnight on 3 October 2026, Swiss time, 0.2 to 1.0 degrees away: Amsterdam, Falkenstein, Nuremberg, Frankfurt, Paris and Geneva. The lines follow the links in the cluster. To the left the Andromeda galaxy M31, below it the star 51 Pegasi, around which the first planet of a sun-like star was found at the Geneva Observatory in 1995. How the cluster works

No third-party proxy in front

A request is encrypted from the browser to our own entrance, and from there onward over our own encrypted network between every server. No third party sits in between and reads along.

Two of everything

Two entrances at two providers, two application servers in two countries, three databases in three data centres. No provider holds both halves of a pair.

Measured and published

status.elchi.dev shows what is running and every incident at its real length. The measured availability appears once a full month has been measured; the cluster has run since 3 October 2026.

Names and certificates

The DNS zones are held by Cloudflare, and ClouDNS answers lookups with the healthy entrances. Both see only names, no content and no accounts.
